Software Development

Gene's interests are in building distributed enterprise and financial applications, while using super-cool modern technologies.

Gene leads the Server Engineering department at Deltix, Inc., an exciting new company, building trading and analytical solutions for the financial industry.

Elena is a senior software developer at Egenera, Inc.

Music

Gene has been studying music since he was 7 years old. At some point, he was even going to become a composer. More recently, he took some classes at the New England Conservatory. Lenka and Gene like to go to jazz concerts, primarily at the Regattabar. Gene's favorite jazz musicians are Jim Hall, Oscar Peterson and Chick Corea. His favorite classical composers are Bach and Shostakovich.

In 1987-1989, Gene wrote a cycle of guitar songs in Russian on his Mom's poems. Basically, this will only be interesting for you to listen if you understand the Russian language.

Gene used to be a USATT member.
Victor and Dennis played hockey for Waltham.
